● Atala, AJ (Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine): featured in Aug. 2009 U.S. News & World Report as one of "14 Medical Pioneers on the Cutting Edge,” named by Fast Company (June 2009) as one of the "100 Most Creative People in Business" and one of the "10 Most Creative People in Health Care"; named by Esquire (2008) as one of the “75 Most Influential People of the 21st Century;” NIH Quantum Grant awardee.
In the Oct. 2009 issue of Esquire, he was named one of the "75 Best People in the World."
